Pooh is a small, golden bear, about
22 inches in height. An amiable fellow, he has been described
as a chubby little cubby, and a bear of very little brain (not
true, he is just a little slow). Pooh often goes without clothes,
but sometimes he is known to wear an old red t-shirt.
Pooh lives a happy simple life, one
of visiting friends (especially if they have hunny), playing
poohsticks, hanging out with his best friend Piglet, humming,
thinking up poems and songs, and having adventures. Though the
demiplane of 100 Aker Wood is a peaceful one, sometimes Pooh
has to contend with Jagelurs, Heffalumps, and Woozels (rarely
seen, but all a potential hazard). Pooh has been known to set
traps for the Heffalumps, but hates to use his hunny, mostly
he uses yellow cheese, which looks like hunny if you put in a
jar marked "Hunny."
If Pooh had to contend with hostile
planewalkers, he would not face them in combat, but probably
set a trap for them. Likely though the trap would work only if
the intruders liked hunny, if Pooh can be bothered to part with
it.
However, there being no treasure of
any kind in 100 Aker Wood, just peaceful woods with friendly
folk, Pooh is never much put out. Visitors are welcome to sit
and tell stories or play poohsticks, just as long as they don't
stay too long.

Tigger is a tiger-like being, very active
and almost hedonistic in his fun-loving ways. A very bouncy animal,
he has described himself as having "a top made out of rubber,
and a bottom made out of springs." And while quite capable
of walking and an excellent tree climber, bouncing around is
his main form of locomotion and his favorite activity. Indeed,
he is bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy, fun, fun, fun, fun.
He is a fairly common sight, in 100
Aker Wood, bouncing around exclaiming such phrases as "Hoo
hoo hoo hewoo." It is not known if this is a magical incantation
or merely a unique form of Tigger language.
Although there is little hard research
on this subject, it is believe one can "summon" Tigger
on his home plane by beginning the following incantation:
"The wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is Tiggers are wonderful things
Their tops are made out of rubber
Their bottoms are made out of springs
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, FUN!
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers"
To which Tigger is 85% likely to appear
and provide the last lines of the spell, which are:
"Is I'm the only one"
He will then proceed to finish the remaining
five stanzas (at last count). Tigger will then proceed to frolic
with his guests, assuming they are there to party and make in
general merriment.
Tigger is sometimes confused with the
Jagular, a creature thought native to the demiplane. Very rarely
seen, this catlike creature is known to hide in the branches
of trees, and drop on you as you go underneath. Clever creatures,
they are known to call "Help! Help!" and then drop
upon their victim when they look up. While Tigger is known to
leap from trees on friends, he generally shouts "Hoo hoo
hoo hewoo," an important distinction for the wary planeswalker.
Tigger is not to be confused with two
other tiger-like beings of similar size. Tony, who has an addiction
to frosted children's cereals and can be apparently summoned
by pouring a bowl of them. Hobbes, a somewhat schizophrenic little
being who is sometimes wise philosopher and sometimes savage
beast, and is known to accompany a small human boy.

Piglet is a very small intelligent being,
in appearance of a timid pink pig of about 10 inches in height.
Bipedal, Piglet has a preference for wearing a long, striped
shirt.
Piglet is often encountered with Pooh,
either playing and on adventures together, or in his lair, a
beech tree south of Pooh's house. There are few souls more harmless
the Piglet. Aside from associating with Pooh, the demiplane's
chief inhabitant, Piglet likes playing Poohsticks, bright colors,
balloons, and to blow dandelions.

Eeyore is a gray donkey-like being,
a sentient inhabitant of 100 Aker Wood. Although described as
being stuffed with sawdust, he is as much a living, breath creature
as Pooh or Tigger is.
Intelligent and quiet, one might argue
he is the wisest being on his homeplane. Perhaps because of this,
he is always depressed, keeping very much to himself. Indeed,
his lair is often referred to as Eeyore's Gloomy Place (in the
typical simplistic naming scheme of this plane's inhabitants).
To add to his problems, Eeyore's tail often falls off and his
house keeps falling down, most inconvenient. This poor creature,
seems to be the focus of all pathos and misery on his homeplane,
as most of the other inhabitants, especially Tigger, are so very
happy go lucky. In fact, some planar scholars theorize that Eeyore
is some kind of misery magnet, sucking all of the misfortune
from the plane into one being.
Eeyore seems to radiate misfortune;
any task he attempts is 75% likely to fail. Although the natives
of 100 Aker Wood are largely immune, any planeswalker within
sight of Eeyore is 50% likely to fail proficiency checks, miss
on "to hit" rolls, and have spells misfire.
About the only thing that thrills Eeyore
is being remembered on his birthday.

Rabbit is well, a sentient rabbit, no
beating around the bush here. He is about 28 inches tall, and
represents actually the most common group of creatures in 100
Aker Wood. While Tigger, Pooh, and many of the others are unique
beings, rabbit has seventeen family members by his last count,
and an unknown number of friends and relations. Some believe
that rabbits are the original inhabitants of the demiplane, and
that all others are latecomers. In any event, anyone encountering
"Rabbit" is at least 65% likely to be encountering
a friend, family member, or relation.
While these other rabbits may look like
Rabbit, let me tell you they are not Rabbit! Rabbit is an arrogant
little being, very pushy and decisive (hence his lawful alignment).
Rabbit loves to organize things and take charge of any group
events in 100 Aker Wood, though things rarely get accomplished
under his leadership. Rabbit gets very flustered if he is interrupted.
Indeed, any event over which Rabbit becomes in charge of is 50%
likely (base chance) to end in disaster.
Further adding to Rabbit's personality
quirks, is that he appears to the best speller in 100 Aker Wood,
which is not saying much (well I mean look at it, they can't
even spell the name of their own universe).
I would postulate that Rabbit represents
the original native race of 100 Aker Wood, and a number of individuals
exist. No one knows their original connection to 100 Aker Wood,
or other rabbit-like beings. It is possible that a number of
sentient rabbits exist throughout the multiverse. The Trix Rabbit
is a deceptive being, bent on lying to children and stealing
their hard-won fruity cereal, though he is apparently so inept
at this that he is somehow endearing. Peter Cottontail is very
close to Rabbit in appearance and closer in personality, mostly
living a quiet life on the Prime Material Plane. The Easter Rabbit
is somewhat of a mystery, and represents either a large number
of sentient rabbits (perhaps plane-hopping rabbits, if you will
excuse the pun), a demigod of some sort (Demigod of Chocolate
and Painted Eggs?), or an outright lie told to children (hmmm).
Bugs Bunny is probably the most powerful rabbit, owing to that
he is capable of using all human tools, is nearly human-sized,
and is apparently indestructible (the most any attack can do
on Bugs is to stun him). Based on previously recorded exploits,
Bugs can survive explosions, being shot, falling from the sky,
and breathing in a vacuum. A tough individual, he has bested
pirates, vampires, dragons, knights, witches, and something called
a Martian.
The notion of a sentient race of rabbits
is lend credence by the rabbit race of Watership Down. It is
possible that entire nations of rabbits exist, perhaps with priests,
fighters, legends, and such. More remains to be explored. With
the odd exceptions mentioned above, they would appear to be a
peaceful, quiet species that is much in tune with nature, not
constructing large buildings like humans or the demihuman races
like to do.
I don't know about them being a PC race.
Send suggestions if you have them. Ability score minimums and
maximums, classes eligible, suggested kits, level limits, innate
abilities, etc. They might be mages, hence the Easter Rabbit
Myth and might make suitable druids or priests. Owing to the
sometimes thief nature of Bugs and the Trix Rabbit, they might
be rogues as well.
