Welcome to the Alachua County Medical Alliance homepage. The objectives of the Alachua County Medical Alliance are to assist the Alachua Medical Society in the programs for the advancement of medicine and public health, and to receive and distribute gifts for the promotion of the objects and purposes of the corporation.

The Alliance offers tours of the Robb House museum by appointment only.

The Robb house, which houses the office of the ACMS, was once owned by the first husband and wife physician team in Florida, Robert and Lucretia Robb. In 1981, it was purchased by the ACMS, restored and furnished with much of the original furniture and medical equipment used by the Robbs.

Also contained in the house is a medical museum area featuring the largest collection of medical equipment and memorabilia in Florida. The museum is visited by school groups, historic societies, juvenile correction groups , medical students and residents, It is listed in the national Medical Museums Association directory as the only medical museum in Florida.
