Spirit Photography has made its way into my life of its own accord. While experimenting with the features of my new Fujifilm FinePix 2650 digital camera on Christmas night 2002, I was baffled to see that unusual orbs of light appeared at random in some of the images. The image at the left is the first appearance of this unusual light.

Puzzled by what these strange orbs of light could be, I went on a search the next day to determine whether or not my camera was malfunctioning. After browsing many internet technical support pages for various digital camera brands, I was left with no explanation of what the orbs might be. With continued research of this unusual anomoly, I soon learned that the light orbs I was capturing in my images are believed by many to be the souls or spirits of those who have passed away. Many people believe some orbs are actually angels or spirit guides.

I am not 100% certain by any means what these orbs are. Although, I have my own theory that they are related to the chakra energy of nearby spirits. Still, I continue to be both amazed and baffled by them, especially when they seem to respond to my thought patterns. Sometimes I am quite certain that they are, in fact, visiting spirits. This certainty was given to me recently during an orb capturing experiment with my camera. I had taken several shots without a single orb presenting itself. Determined to capture images of orbs, I then began to speak to my dear mother in spirit and asked her if she would allow me to see her. A moment later, I heard her instructing me to take a picture or her portrait. She told me that I would see her in a reflective object if I did so. Following her instructions, I took a snapshot of her portrait and then downloaded the image to my computer. Much to my surprise, several orbs had appeared along with other unusual light anomolies. I sat studying the reflective objects in image for at least half an hour. Just as I was about to close the image, I was startled and pleasantly surprised to see the image of my mother's face in a silver platter below her portrait.
