To Where Does It Lead Us?
Many questions arise when
delving into the meaning or possibilities of Astral Travel
and/or out of body experiences. One question that comes
to mind is, "What does astral projection lead to as
we study it and willfully practice the act of consciously
and willfully leaving our bodies or exploring the worlds
of other planes of the universe?"
First, I would like to say
here, as my mother would say, "God has a way of telling
us things..."; therefore, it is my belief that actively
exploring this "natural" spirit ability helps us each grow
closer to God, but only when we openly seek God and only
when it is our goal to seek knowledge or truth in regard
to the good of all life.
It is quite possible to
experience verifiable experiences out of body when one desires
proof of its existence. Through the active use of
our spirit body, or while out of our physical body,
we can use this gift to help us in our daily physical lives,
as long as we use the information received for the highest
good of all involved with only love as its purpose and in
efforts to improve quality of physical life; thereby serving
God, ourselves and mankind through unconditional love.
When first experiencing
astral travel it may well feel like an adventure in certain
minds and completely apart from God. It may be used
as something one does to escape the troubles of life and
to bring adventure to it, but the true benefits of astral
travel will never be revealed with this attitude as it will
not further spiritual growth as God has intended.
Through astral projection,
one discovers a whole new world and it goes without saying
that some may feel exhilarated with the sheer vividness
and knowing of what one is experiencing. One may be
totally amazed to experience things where they may see events
taking place in the physical world while out of body only
to re-live the experience exactly at a later date while
fully aware in their physical body. One may be astounded
to find that they may at times visit loved ones hundreds
of miles away and watch events taking place in their lives,
and be shocked at a later date when such experiences are
confirmed by the person they watched. Additionally,
one may be awed when they finally find that they may also
visit their beloved ones who have passed over to the other
side and find them there enjoying life in a positive new
way.
It goes without saying that
as with anything, astral travel can and has been used to
ill effect and for negative reasons, and I'm sure that God
has been disappointed to no end to see his gift being used
to further hinder the spiritual growth of His creation.
It has come to my attention
that some who have the ability to astral travel at will
have moved into a mindset where they feel they have a newfound
"power". Ultimately, and truthfully, only God is power.
"...Thine is the Kingdom of power and glory." To use
such a gift without the good and best intent of all in mind
one will eventually suffer the consequences, undoubtedly.
So then, how may we use
this gift to better serve God and mankind and what can we
expect as an active pursuer of God, His Angels, Spirit Guides
and His messages? I can only speak from my own personal
experiences presented from my search of God and my true
path.
From my experience, it is
my belief that some people are born into this world with
more sensitivity than some others. Perhaps the reason
is simply based on how strongly each person wants to grow
closer to God, and whether this is a result from lessons
learned throughout previous lives and traumas suffered I
couldn't begin to say. However, I do feel that God
does, in fact, Bless us each with spiritual gifts of some
sort and then increases upon those gifts as each lesson
is learned, or as certain knowledge is gained, analyzed,
and accepted as truth and good as assigned by God to each
person individually. I don't feel a great number of our
experiences in this life are truly worthy of being awarded
such gifts due to the current spiritual, emotional and intellectual
status of today's world; however, I do feel that with a
continued effort to act through unconditional love increases
the chance of receiving recognition from God.
Somehow I sense that these
gifts are assigned to each of us before we come into this
world and that part of our path is to come into this life,
learn to use these gifts wisely for the good of others,
and try to show compassion through unconditional love for
the world and universe at large while our spirit has the
responsibility or assignment of this life experience.
As children in this world
we soon realize dreams, which are most times more real than
our reality here in our physical life. As children, many
times we are greatly disappointed that our lives aren't
the same as our dreams, because in dreams, we can see our
loved ones who have passed away; we fly across mountains
just by thinking that we will and we have many other magnificent
abilities we could never experience in physical life due
to its limitations. As children, we are taught as soon as
we can understand and talk that our dreams mean nothing.
Fortunately, there are those, though somewhat few,
who refuse to believe that our dreams are meaningless and
those few continue to explore these wonderful nightly travels,
which sometimes become a living experience of our spirit.
These few, most times, grow to have a very personal belief
system in regard to spirituality and life and how it relates
to God. Then sometimes, there are those whose religious
belief system is completely transformed. In both cases,
their belief is so strong that no amount of the human man's
religious preaching, consultation, study, or research can
sway their belief that God and spirituality is a very personal
and individual thing. Although, these few also experience
a great sense of knowing that we are also, each of us, individually,
all a part of the same purpose and creation.
For those few who realize
the special messages sent to us by God through our consciousness,
through our spirit connection, there are many wonderful
Blessings and gifts to be realized. Those with a continued
devotion to search and serve God in a personal way will
soon learn that astral travel is a wonderful gift from God
and one of God's many ways of helping us to learn and understand
the true meaning of what it is we are supposed to be doing
along our physical life paths, as well as a way to help
us learn of our futures on the other side; thereby helping
to make our own transition from this physical life to the
other side a smoother one.
In my own personal researches
and very avid active use of this gift of astral travel,
much to my surprise, I have also received the gifts of clairvoyance,
clairaudience, and mediumship in my daily physical life
and currently actively provide grievance support to those
seeking comfort in regard to the loss of their loved ones.
I feel that all of these abilities are closely knit together
and feel that without one, there would be none.
Ultimately, I believe that
to consciously realize a spiritual gift of God as such automatically
opens the possibility for other gifts to develop.
In my case, the ability to astral travel, both spontaneously
and at will, led to the physical life development of psychic
ability, first, and then to the ability to communicate with
those on the other side at will through asking for God's
assistance to do so. I also must say that the prayers I
pray for assistance that are answered more quickly than
all the prayers I pray are those prayers prayed for the
well-being, comfort, and best good of all. This makes it
apparent that love precedes all things.
