This is my love, Conny Theresa Silvers (she's not going to be Silvers for long)
11/13/98 - Engagement
I proposed to her at Sleuth's Mystery Dinner Show. With everything planned in advance, I was able to incorporate Conny and myself into the show and surprise the living bejesus out of Conny.
10/04/99 - After several phone calls, we have finally chosen the company that will provide our elegant limousine service to the wedding and to our honeymoon suite. Absolute Limousine will chauffer us around in style.
10/26/99 - It took us long enough, but we have decided on Kamini Designs to decorate our wonderful day with flowers, as well as provide Conny with her beautiful bouquet. They are also providing for the necessary flowers for the wedding party. Can you believe that the florist, Diana, is Hispanic and her husband is Indian (actually, he's Guyanese)? She has worked with our DJ, photographer, and Sprinkles before as well. Small world!
11/03/99 - Conny and I went to Sacino's today and I picked out my tuxedo and the tuxedos for the groomsmen. Our "Wedding Number" is 492. For the men in the wedding, please refer to this # when going to get measured.
11/19/99 - We are ordering our invitations finally. Because we are having two ceremonies, we need to get our invitations from two different places: Jamie Lee Fine Wedding Stationery and Desh-Videsh. Our invitations will be a combination of American and Gujarati styles. We plan to mail them out in early January.

12/06/99 - We have just booked our honeymoon! After spending our honeymoon night at Walt Disney World's Swan Hotel, we will be taking a cruise via Cruises, Inc. We will enjoy 5 days/4 nights on the Royal Caribbean Sovereign of the Seas. We leave from Miami and travel to Nassau and Coco Cay. We can't wait!
12/14/99 - We have just setup another Bridal Registry at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. This was due to the fact that Service Merchandise does not carry linens. The registry number is 232885.
12/27/99 - My mom just got Conny's Indian dress and my Indian outfit for the Hindu Ceremony. She also got Conny some beautiful jewelry that she will wear for the ceremony. They are all straight from India.
01/04/00 - Conny picked up all of the bridesmaids' dresses today. She has to send Aimee her dress (she's in Colorado) and the rest of the girls can pick up their dresses at their convenience for any necessary alterations. We've only got a little over a month to go!
01/06/00 - Today is the day that we picked up our Marriage License at the Orange County Courthouse. We got a discount on the price because we completed the steps for the marriage process at Holy Family.
01/07/00 - Conny went to The Collection today to make sure the alterations on her dress were done. Unfortunately, there is still some work to be done. One more visit on the 21st and hopefully the dress will be ready for the final pick-up.
01/08/00 - Whew! We ran around all day today and bought the necessities for the centerpieces. We hope everyone will like our creations, with the help of one of Conny's mom's friends from Church. We also bought some bubbles for the grand exit at Michael's Arts and Crafts Store.
01/13/00 - We just applied for our passports, which we should be getting within two weeks. All we've got left to do for our honeymoon.... is pack!
01/14/00 - Conny went to Bay Hill Hair to work on some different hairstyles for the big day. After three hours of trial and error, she says that they came up with the perfect "do" that will work well with her veil, too.
01/18/00 - We finally decided on the party favors for all of our guests for the wedding. We purchased them at Party City, as well as the pretty royal blue ribbons with our names and the date that we begin our new lives together.
01/21/00 - Conny's dress is finally fitting perfectly! It will be ready for pick-up on February 11th. After checking on that, we met with Bob Glickman to figure out the details of the Wedding Reception. He's got so many great things in store! We are going to have a blast!
01/25/00 - Appointments have been made for the bridesmaids to have their nails done at Mystic Nails. Conny's mom has a friend who owns the place who's sure to treat the girls well on that day before the wedding.
1/28/00 - We met with Diana from Kamini Designs to finalize the details of her floral services for the wedding. The flowers are guaranteed to be fresh and beautiful, and the mandap for the Hindu Ceremony will be decorated by her as well.
02/02/00 - Conny finally arranged for Damaris' sister Annabelle to take care of the make-up for her and those bridesmaids wishing to have their make-up done together. In addition, we met with Dave Eicher, our photographer, this afternoon to discuss the details and information he needs to take all the great shots for the wedding. We trust he will capture some great moments on our special day.
02/07/00 - Conny went by Frosting on the Cake to pick up our customized cake-topper. They painted the groom brown, like me! The hair on the groom is also nice and dark, like mine! We wanted our cake-topper to better reflect our multicultural union. Also, our wedding bands from The International Diamond Exchange are clean and ready.
02/10/00 - I picked up my tuxedo today and made sure it fits just right. In addition, a whole lot of family and friends are coming into town now for the wedding. Among them are my family from California, Georgia, New Jersey, and Tennessee. We also picked up Conny's long-time friends Janet and MaryEllen from the airport. Conny is so glad to see them after so long!
02/11/00 - Today is Rehearsal Day and the day for the Bachelor and Bachelorette parties. Conny has also already picked up her wedding dress today, as she stresses more and more each minute. She's been stressing enough for the both of us!
02/12/00 - We had a Hindu Ceremony at my parents' house this afternoon. Conny's parents were there, along with a great deal of my family. The Hindu priest was very helpful in explaining the many steps in the ceremony. Conny and I are feeling very emotional, especially as tomorrow draws near. She got her French manicure with her bridesmaids today, and I am taking her out to Lee's Lakeside tonight for a night of romance and "destressing" before tomorrow.
We will have pictures of the honeymoon for you to see, as well as begin constructing a new web page as we search for a house .....and hopefully prepare for a bundle of joy, too!
Thanks for stopping by....
