Thursday 4/13/2000 - We heard our baby's heartbeat for the first time... nice and strong... |

| Saturday 7/8/2000 - Tonight, little Spencer finally kicked very distinctly for the first time. We both could feel him on the outside of Conny's belly. He loves to sleep a lot most of the day, but when he kicks, you know for sure he's awake! |
| 07/23/00 - We are getting ready to begin decorating little Spencer's nursery. The border we ordered has arrived and our theme for his room will be "Elmo and Friends." |
| 08/17/00 - We registered today at Babies-R-Us for all of little Spencer's upcoming needs. You can check out our registry there. |
| 08/31/00 - We got another sonogram and recorded Spencer's heartbeat. You can hear the sounds by clicking on the sonogram picture below, or by clicking here. Spencer is perfectly healthy and now weighs 3.9lbs. Those pictures will be coming soon.... |

| 09/30/00 - The baby shower at Holy Family Catholic Church was a wonderful day for so many great gifts for little "Spekky." We want to thank everyone who so generously came to share the afternoon, as well as their generosity, with us. |
| 10/04/00 - Surprise! Another baby shower at Conny's work (The State Attorney's Office downtown). Once again, thanks to everyone for the lovely gifts that we know Spencer will make good use of! He is blessed! |
| 10/28/00 - We are ready for baby Spekky to make his arrival. We've completed our Lamaze classes and have his crib and room ready to go. Now it's just a matter of when he decides to come into the world! |
| 11/06/00 - Started having contractions at 4am. Water broke at 4:30am.... Spencer born 10:40pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
