Our program is based on the philosophy that most
children can learn the skills necessary to succeed in school, that each child
learns at his own rate and that success in learning will develop the child’s
self-image. A child that feels emotionally and physically safe and secure
enhances his ability to learn these skills.
Our program is planned to
meet each child’s emotional, social, physical, cognitive and spiritual needs.
The chosen tools to do this are the ABEKA Curriculum supplemented by the
WEE-LEARN Curriculum
and NEST-FAMILY New Testament Studies. Our program is also enriched with a full
media center, music, science, Spanish and gymnastics.
Within our center’s daily
schedule each child has opportunities to create, explore the environment, learn
problem-solving and personal interaction skills and learn concepts through
first-hand experiences. Children develop a positive self-concept through a
balance of self-and-teacher-directed activities. Opportunities for solitary
play, as well as, group activities are provided.
And, though we
feel honored to provide these experiences to your child, we respect that you,
the parents, are the primary and most important provider of care and nurturance
and that our relationship with you is now one of partnership in your children’s
care and education.
