Food Pantry
Clients are assisted with food three times a year. The food is nutritionally packaged to supply food for 10-14 days if used wisely. The package is per family size
1-2 people in the household
3-4 people in the household
5-6 people in the household
We do try to package sugar free and low salt. Holiday baskets are given out during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. Additional emergency food is given according to need and circumstances.

Heating/Power Assistance
The assistance is offered to the client twice a year

A. The month of October through April is called the winter heat program. Clients are assisted with a larger dollar amount for heat assistance once during those months.
B. The months of May through September are the summer months (These month are helped with a smaller dollar portion.)
Emergency Medication Assistance
Each family is offered assistance of $100.00 per family per year for help in purchasing life- sustaining medications. This is done with the assistance of the pharmacist and/or doctor verification.

Emergency Rental Assistance
Annual assistance is given for those who are to be evicted. (Pickens County only).

Homeless Emergency Support
One time only are deposits for rent, and/or utilities paid for the homeless. They must be able to prove they will be able to sustain the household with their income.

Motel Stay
We offer emergency one night stays in local motel for homeless or transient.

Parenting Aids
We hold various topic workshops throughput the year to assist the client with the knowledge for parenting workshops have been topics such: school, success, energy efficiency, summer safety, health matters, etc.

Secret Santa
This program is designed to help parents in giving to the children for Christmas.

Transportation
We provide Bus/Train tickets to return to family for additional support, gas for doctor's appointments, job interviews, etc
