Our objective is to provide people with the chance to encounter the outdoors while experiencing something new and exciting. We offer several types of excursions that allow everyone the opportunity to choose their favorite. We primarily provide guided services for Hiking, Rappelling, Backpacking and Rock-Climbing but we are willing to custom design the perfect excursion to fit your needs. We have several qualified guides that are willing to provide you with an unforgettable experience.

Damon Wilcox is the owner and head guide of Nomad Excursions, which was established as a business in October of 2003. He has spent most of his life experiencing the outdoors and has been actively taking friends and family on outdoor trips since 1993. He graduated from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor's degree in Geography specializing in Cartography and Geographic Information Systems and an Associates degree in Cartography and Mapping. While at Western he took Mountaineering and Marksmanship as well as advanced Mountaineering, which were taught by the ROTC. He has traveled throughout the U.S. enjoying the outdoors and developing his outdoor skills.
